Don Michael Zeigenbein, son of Alfred and Dorothy Eaken Zeigenbein, was born in Lebanon, Missouri, on July 2, 1955, and left the troubles of this world behind on January 9, 2022, at the age of sixty-six years.
Don graduated from Richland High School in the class of 1973. For the past thirty years, he has been employed with Missouri Department of Transportation.
On March 12, 1976, Don was united in marriage with Wendy Renea Milligan.
Don is survived by his wife Wendy; one son, Steven Zeigenbein and his wife Erin and his daughter, Lori Kardosz and her husband Shane, both of Richland, MO; six grandchildren, Grant, Colton, Joshua and Kayla Zeigenbein and Kaden and Kamryn Kardosz; his parents, Alfred and Dorothy Zeigenbein of Richland, MO; his sister, Joyce Fritts and her husband Charlie and two brothers, Danny Zeigenbein and Greg Zeigenbein and his wife Julie, all of Richland, MO; mother-in-law, LaVera Milligan of Stoutland, MO; sister-in-law, Shirley Zeigenbein of Richland, MO; brothers-in-law, Bil Milligan of Cheyenne Wyoming and Joe and Andy Milligan of Stoutland, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by twin brothers, Gary and Larry Zeigenbein.
Funeral service for Don Zeigenbein, will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Shadel's Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Stoutland Cemetery.
Visitation for Don will begin at 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 12, 2022, also at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Don, have been suggested to the Richland FFA and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel's Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, MO 65536.
