Alice Russeau (Genna Bovinet), age 41 of Monroe, MI, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.

Born May 21, 1984 in Toledo, OH, Alice attended Lincoln Elementary School and graduated from Monroe High School in 2002. She earned a bachelor degree from Concordia College and a master's degree from University of Phoenix.

Alice had a long work history that included Elder-Beerman and Monroe Bank & Trust.

Alice had a rare and beautiful ability to form deep, lasting friendships. She was surrounded by friends who loved her unconditionally, especially Beth, Kari, and Nicole, along with her Aunt Kelli, who stood by her side through everything.

Alice was a kind and free spirit, always the life of the party and someone who brought warmth and laughter wherever she went. She was an avid fan of the Back Street Boys and Alice in Wonderland. She was truly one of a kind. Above all else, Alice cherished time with her child, Alec and her many nieces and nephews, creating memories filled with love, joy and connection that will be treasured forever.

Alice is survived by her son, Alec Bovinet; fiancé, Robert Parriett; sisters, Sarah (Christopher) Sharpe, Leslie (Gary) Balcom, and Melissa (Andrew Marter) Russeau; brothers, Neil "Richard" (Shannon) Russeau, and Michael (Ashley) Russeau; father, John Estes; and grandmother, Janet Estes.

Alice was preceded in death by her adopted parents, Donna and Neil Russeau; mother, Dawn Estes; grandmother, Diana Mayes; grandfathers, Johnnie Estes, Donald Mayes, and Donald Barker.
