Alice "Sheri" Daggett

Alice Sheri Daggett, 80, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, and proud American, Sheri's life was defined by resilience, love, and service.
Born on 18 May 1945 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to Francis Hunter and Lewis Hunter, Sheri lived a life full of courage, dedication, and purpose. She was the loving mother of two daughters, Susan Morin (Randy Morin) and Ashley O'Berry (Heath O'Berry) and the cherished grandmother of Jalynn O'Berry, Tristen Morin, Brayden O'Berry, and Hunter Morin. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Carl Daggett, her second husband John Michael Paddock, and her beloved grandson Riley Alan O'Berry.
Sheri proudly served her country as a member of the United States Army, embodying discipline, honor, and commitment. She was a breast cancer survivor, facing her battle with unwavering strength and grace, and a Gold Star Spouse, carrying the weight of loss with dignity while keeping the memory of her husband's service alive.
Following her military service, Sheri dedicated over 30 years as a GS employee at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute, where she played a crucial role in processing and supporting Naval physicians through their training in the Aerospace Medicine Flight Surgeon program. Her diligence and expertise helped prepare countless Navy Medical Officers to serve with excellence in aviation medicine.
Sheri was known for her unshakable will, deep compassion, and ability to inspire those around her to face life's challenges with strength. Her legacy will live on through the values she instilled in her family and the many lives she touched through her service, work, and love.
