Alice Germann Obituary
Alice J. Germann, 68, of Cutler, IL; born on October 24, 1955 in Murphysboro, IL, the daughter of Lester Ray and Lillian Laverne (Vickery) Venus; went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 16, 2024 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.
Alice was a devout Christian that gave all of her faith to God. She loved her family and spending time with her kids. Alice also enjoyed sewing, fishing and cooking. At one time, Alice and Richard owned two restaurants in Willisville, IL. She also worked at TG-Auto in Perryville, MO and Spartan Light Metal in Sparta, IL.
Alice is survived by her loving husband – Richard Germann of Cutler, IL; two children – Melissa (Glenn) Engler of Willisville, IL and Andrew Germann of Cutler, IL; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters – Nora Grant of DuQuoin, IL, Darlene (Fred) Helton of Sparta, IL, and Ester Venus of Cutler, IL; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son – Daniel Germann; brother – Harold Venus.

The Visitation will be held at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Committal Services will take place at Percy Village Cemetery.
