Alice Jane Willoughby McCoy, age 75, widow of William Jesse McCoy, Jr., passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at her home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born on November 27, 1949, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Sherman Willoughby and Mattie Anderson Willoughby. Alice was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her home and her family. Survivors include three daughters, Angela Marie McCoy, Tammy Lynn Fetters and her husband Jim, Megan Mink and her husband, Bill, eleven grandchildren, William Jesse McCoy, IV, Zachery McCoy, Jaxon McCoy, Ashley Nicole Meade and her husband Dewey, J.R. Begley, Danielle Doderer and her husband, Nathan, Heather Myler and her husband, Harry, Will Kitchen, Jr. and his wife, Destinie, Jayden Mink, Emily Mink, and Everlee Mink, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include her siblings, Harry Willoughby and his wife, Phyllis, Jerry Willoughby and his wife, Phyllis, Joanne Murphy and her husband, Don, and Mary Teater and her husband, Jim. She was preceded in death by two sons, William J. McCoy, III, and Justin Thomas Snowden, a grandson, Joshua Aaron Begley, a sister, Patty Younger, and brothers Donald Willoughby, Paul Willoughby, Tommy Willoughby, Ellis Willoughby, Sherman Willoughby, Jr., and Fred Willoughby. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 25, 2025, with Pastor Craig Tackett officiating. The burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery with Bill Mink, Jayden Mink, Harry Myler, Nathan Doderer, Jim Fetters, and Will Kitchen, Jr. serving as bearers. Honorary bearers will be William Jesse McCoy IV, Zachery McCoy, Jaxon McCoy, Jerry Willoughby, Harry Willoughby, Don Murphy, Joshua Frasure, Jim Teater and Dewey Meade. The visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Alice and her family in their time of need.
