Alice Pacer Obituary
Alice J. (Mikolajczyk) Pacer, age 90, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Alice was born on October 21, 1934, in Toledo, to Valentine and Pearl Mikolajczyk. She attended St. Anthony's School before graduating from Libby High School. She worked at Ohio Bell, in the Sears Parts department, then ultimately retired from AT&T. She was a life-long, dedicated member of the Church, and most recently attended services at Christ the King.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James "Jim" R. Pacer; their infant daughter, Janet; their infant grandson, Benjamin; her brother, Valentine Jr. "Joe"; and her sister, Christine.
Alice is survived by, and will be dearly missed by, her children, Susan (Mike) Mason, Alan (Tina) Pacer, and Karen (Tom) Dille; her brother, Carl Mikolajczyk; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many others who knew and loved her.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Ln, where Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, tributes may be directed to the Toledo Firefighters Museum or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Alice was a wonderful and dear friend of my parents, especially of my mother! Growing up I remember all kinds of parties, get togethers with Alice and her husband, Jim, and the Pacer kids - we were all truly one big family. Alice and Jim were the nicest people, and always had smiles on their faces. Especially Alice, she always smiled, laughed and I don't remember one instance where she was not happy. We are all blessed to have had Alice in our lives. Rest in peace Alice.
