Alice L. Runyan, 71, of Sharon, PA, passed away on May 28, 2025, in her home surrounded by family.
She was born in Sharon, PA on July 8, 1953, to John Porterfield and Mary (Taylor) Porterfield.
Alice married Everitt Runyan on April 28, 1979, he survives at home. They spent a wonderful 53 years together.
Alice attended Sharon Schools. Her first job was at Greenwood Pharmacy. She then spent many years working various retail jobs in the valley until she began working at Big Lots, where she retired after 15 years.
Alice enjoyed dancing, fishing, attending dog races and casinos and playing bingo. She was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved Elvis Presley.
Alice is survived by: Daughter, Tammy (Steve) Williams of Transfer, PA; Two Sons, Everitt H. (Michele) Runyan Jr. of Sharon, PA, Mike Runyan of Sharon, PA; Four Sisters, Kathy Goodnight of Sharon, PA, Dorothy Porterfield of Sharpsville, PA, Grace Kenedy of Sharpsville, PA, Viola Rankin of Sharpsville, PA; Three Brothers, Ron Porterfield of Sharon, PA, Eddie Porterfield of Sharon, PA, Anthony Porterfield of Hermitage, PA; Grandchildren, 13; Great-Grandchildren, 13;
Alice was preceded in death by: Two Brothers, John Porterfield, Kiefer Porterfield; Father, John Porterfield; Mother, Mary Porterfield;
Visitation will be held at John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.2630 E. State St. in Hermitage, PA, on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 2, 2025, with Pastor Jeffrey Pellin officiating.
