I totally agree with Alison's comments. I did visit with Buddy once at her assisted living "home" in Groton; it was a good visit and great to see her again. To Jon and Martha...your Mom's passing is very sad for me. I always thought of the Schmidt family as my second home, a very important part of my growing up in Harvard. The world will miss her!!

Buddy was a constant presence in our church and community as I was growing up. Always a great singer in the choir and one of the sunniest faces to ever be seen. A beautiful woman. My heart goes out to you Jonathan and Martha. You were blessed, but so weren't we.

Buddy was a constant in our lives growing up across the street at New Manor Hall. She was beautiful inside and out and was the 2nd mother everyone should have as well as a remarkable friend to our Mother. Our hearts are full for Jonathan and Martha. Hugs from "The Newman Kids".

Jonathan and Martha, I can't express enough how sad I am in the loss of your mother and my very good Tiny's friend. She would sure make my day whenever I saw her with her beautiful smile and soft, gracious way of making you feel special. She will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart and remembered always.
R.I.P. Buddy
Love and miss you always,
