Alice Faye Sneed

Alice Faye Sneed, daughter of Dwight Eugene Brinkley and Dovie Alice Crafton Brinkley was born in Quitman, Arkansas on September 13th, 1945 and passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 17th, 2022 at the age of 76 years.
Alice married Gerald Lee Sneed after high school and welcomed sons Joey Trent & Michael Todd. In the late 60's, living in Camden, she went through the Police Academy becoming a Police Officer.
Shortly after moving back home to Quitman and settling in Bee Branch, she established the farm & her love for horses began. For the next 20 years she raised, bread, & sold horses to which her favorite was the Appaloosa.
Later on she was recruited by & married John Walters, owner of John Walters Chevrolet, Conway Arkansas. There she found a nack for selling cars so much so she became one of the top 5% salespeople for Chevrolet in the United States. For the next 30 years, Alice & John traveled, loved, & took care of their kids & grandkids until May 17, 2022 at 7:07 am, she passed away with John by her side as always.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: Dwight & Alice Brinkley, Late Husband: Gerald Sneed, Brother: Billy Dale Brinkley, & Sister: Brenda Kay Brinkley Price.
Survivors are Husband: John Walters, Sons: Trent & Todd, Brother: Gene Brinkley, Sisters: Dianne (Bill) Jones, Patricia (Don) Williamson. Grandkids: Trista Sneed, Trevor (Lacey) Sneed, Hayden Sneed, Dax Henry, Alex (Derrick) Green, Hannah (Anson) Caddy, Great-Grandkids: Rhyatt Sneed, Daxxon Henry, McCrae, & Blaise Turner. Along with many nieces, nephews, stepchildren & step grandchildren, & friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 12:00 - 2:00pm with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm at Olmstead Funeral Home with Lynn Burford officiating. Interment will follow in Fairbanks Cemetery.
