Alice Tanner Obituary
Alice F. Tanner , 65, of Wadsworth, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Summa Akron City Hospital.
Alice was born February 8, 1957 in Virgie, Kentucky to Tennis and Edna {Mullens} Bates.
She married Donald Tanner on May 29, 1974. He survives.
She attended Ambassador Baptist Church. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, watching traffic and playing solitaire.
Alice will be deeply missed by her husband; children Dwayne (Amanda) Tanner of Wadsworth, Crystal (Ed) Workman of Rittman, and Teresa Cropp of Rittman; grandchildren Jennifer (Ryan) Morrison, Alivia Tanner, Ava Cropp, Josie (Mark) Cameron, Seth Wigfield, and Trent Wigfield; many great-grandchildren; brothers Kenny (Carylon), Carl, Terry, and Ricky (Kathy) Bates; sisters Cheryl (Joey) Tackett, Geral Adkins, and Rose (Johnny) Mumaw.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call Monday from 10 to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Services will be Monday at 12 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Decker officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
