On Saturday, September 17th, Alicia Gonzalez, beloved mother, passed away peacefully at the age of eighty-two. She was born to Daniel Muro and Guillermina Carbajal de Muro in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico on January 7, 1940.
Alicia is preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Guillermina, her brothers Fernando and Daniel and sisters Martha and Graciela, beloved husband Reynold Gonzalez, children Rebeca and Reynold Jr. and grandchild Alex James.
Alicia is survived by her sister Anita Mascorro, children and in-laws, Patricia (Donald) Lev, Diana Alicia Gonzalez, Blanca De La Cerda, Alejandro (Sadie) Gonzalez, Marina (Norris) Bodley, grandchildren Richard, Juan Antonio, Jackie, Roman, Christina, Jennifer, Rachel, Adrian, Ryan, Claudia, Nicholas, Mark, Dylan, Nina, Chris, Samantha, and Alex Jr., and 23 adorable great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who she adored.
Alicia and Reynold met and instantly knew they were meant for one another and were married a month later. Their marriage was strong and was blessed with seven children and many years of joy. Alicia was an excellent cook, she taught her children many life skills how to cook, needle crafts, how to laugh and enjoy life. Alicia and her husband loved to dance and enjoyed all types of music, this joy of music was passed down to their children. There are many happy memories of being awoken early (real early) to music on the weekends. Alicia enjoyed reading and always enjoyed watching a good drama or thriller (and of course telenovelas) on television.
Alicia was dearly loved and will be missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.
