Alicia Hernandez, age 67, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on December 9, 1957, in Durango, Mexico, to Emilio Hernandez and Maria de la Luz Molina.
Alicia grew up in Mexico, where she spent her childhood working in the family business "El Molino." As a teenager, she came to the United States in pursuit of the American dream. Alicia was a woman who loved to stay busy, both at work and at home. She was the life of every party-outgoing, full of energy, and always dependable. She was a strong provider for her family, deeply social, and had the gift of making every space she entered feel warm and alive.
One of her greatest accomplishments was purchasing her own home, a dream she fulfilled through hard work and determination. Alicia enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-drinking coffee with Galletas María, family gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching her favorite novelas.
A woman of deep faith, Alicia lived her life in the Catholic tradition since childhood. More recently, she received Jesus as her Lord and Savior, which began a beautiful transformation in her life. With her eldest son by her side, she found strength in prayer and began praying for her children with a renewed spirit.
Alicia is survived by her beloved children: Rafael Quintero (Vanessa), Juan Carlos Quintero (Jennifer), Oscar Correa (Anna), and Norma Perez (Luis). She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, with one more on the way. She is survived by her siblings: Dolores, Beatrice, Emilio, Manuel, and Miguel Hernandez, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emilio Hernandez and Maria de la Luz Molina; her brothers Ruben, Antonio, Raul, Juan, Erasmo, Jose, and de la Cruz Hernandez; her sister Rafael Delgado; and her precious granddaughter, Aaliyah Leticia Quintero.
Alicia's strength, joy, and unwavering love for her family will be missed beyond measure and remembered with deep affection by all who knew her.
