Alieene Sue Shaw, 83, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025 at The Waters of Georgetown. She was born July 22, 1941 in Breckinridge County, KY the daughter of Procter and Mamie Shaw Allen. She was a loving babysitter and an avid quilter. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold D. Shaw, Jr. and a great grandson Jaxon Shaw. She is survived by her son, Harold D. "Tiger" Shaw, III (Kathy) of Fredericksburg; IN, brother, Virgil Allen of Breckinridge County, KY; sister, Dorothy Hundley of Yuma, AZ; grandchildren, T.C. Shaw (Dani) of Sellersburg, IN and Scott Sale (Sarah) of Louisville, KY; and great grandchildren, Ellie Shaw, Lucian Sale and Luke Shaw. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Baptist Cemetery in Irvington, KY. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 AM until the service at 2 PM also at the funeral home in Georgetown.
