Aline Teal

Aline M. Teal, of Springfield, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the age of 95. She was born in Union Ridge, MO, on March 20, 1930, to Ervin and Maudie Bell (Gilmore) Andrus and was the second of four daughters in the home. Aline married Alfred Teal, and this union was blessed with three sons: Lee Allen, Mike and Larry. Aline worked as a seamstress at Calverts Garment factory and then finished her career at Penthouse Furniture in the upholstery department. Aline loved her family and the time she was able to spend with them, especially the times she would, along with her sisters, go on antiquing adventures. She was a lifelong collector of Jewel Tea dishes, having everything from dishes to silverware to their signature clocks. She had an entire room filled with these collectable treasures. She is preceded in death by her son Lee Allen, her parents, and three sisters Josephine Owens, Lola May McCord and Judy Lair. Aline is survived by her sons Mike Teal and his wife Cheryl and Larry Teal, four grandchildren Michele and her significant other D. Todd Aeschliman, Michael P. Teal and wife Amber, Michael L. Teal and significant other Loralee Hutson, and Charles "Brian" Teal, eight great grandchildren Ciara (Dustin) Murtaugh, Caryn (Ryan) Tate, Chrisjon Teal, Chase (Lily) Teal, Taylor Teal, Wyatt Teal, Leanna (Kris) Netroy and Stormie (Noah) Scott, two great greatgrandchildren Lochlan Murtaugh and Bailey Tate as well as other extended family and friends. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 2 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
