Alison Marie Pearson

On February 12, 2024, Alison Marie Pearson was accepted into the kingdom of God. She was born on June 5, 1972, to the late Phyllis P. Smith in Concord, N.C.
At a young age, Alison knew that she wanted to dedicate her life and spirit to Lord Jesus Christ. Accepting membership at First Missionary Baptist Church, Concord, NC, she began her growth in His teachings. Her humble spirit influenced the lives of many. She was a member of many different church choirs over the years - a passion she carried to her last days. She was also a valued member of the FMBC Health Cabinet, where she served as a Faith Community Health Promoter in partnership with Atrium Health Cabarrus and as a fitness instructor for the Fit n' Silver Exercise Class.
Alison graduated from Concord High School in 1990 where she earned many honors in the marching and symphonic bands. She also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of NC at Greensboro in 1994.
Alison is now reunited with her mother, her uncle, William Lee Pearson III, and grandparents, William Lee Pearson, Jr. and Mary Allison Pearson.
Those left to cherish her memories include her brother, Alex Smith of Concord, NC; relatives Elnora Barrier, James Barrier III, Patricia Barrier, Robert Barrier, Martin Pearson, Beverly Pearson, Dorothy Pearson, and Archie Pearson; the extended family of First Missionary Batist Church, the Stafford Family, the Rogers Family, the Faith Community Health Ministry, the Concord High School Band programs, and a host of other family and friends - all who will miss her dearly.
