Alison Marie Rogers, age 38, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep of unknown causes on July 6, 2025. She was born in Heber City, UT on November 20, 1986 to H. John Rogers and Janis Lynne Tolley Rogers. Ali grew up in her beloved Heber City. She attended schools in Wasatch School District and graduated from Wasatch High School in 2005. She received her Associate’s degree from Utah Valley University.

Ali worked for the Dairy Keen, Zion’s Bank, My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shop, Wasatch County, Weller Recreation, and recently started a job with Insight Technologies. She brought to and learned skills at each of these jobs, that carried her throughout her life.

Ali was a very gifted and talented person. She was an amazing quilter, making quilts for family members and others in need. She finished her last quilt, a patriotic quilt, on the 4th of July. She left a legacy of love of over 100 quilts. She was an awesome aunt and her greatest love was making quilts and crocheting animals for her nieces and nephew.

Ali was an avid BYU fan, attending games from a young age. Her family has had season football tickets for 64 years and have sat in the same seats for 30+ years. She had several BYU quilts and lots of BYU gear. She was always decked out at the games from her homemade shoes to hats. This will be a hard season without her.

Ali was an awesome cook, always trying new recipes and trying to figure out how to perfect those that didn’t turn out so great. She loved Disneyland, roller coasters, dirty Diet Mountain Dew, Funko‘s, Harry Potter, Swiss Days, and her Kindle. Most of all she loved her family. She was the best aunt and her nieces and nephew will miss her terribly.

Ali was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many callings, but her favorite was currently ordering the missionary plaques for the missionaries in her ward and doing the monthly newsletter. She was recently called as a service missionary for Heber Valley Camp, working with the new Look Unto Christ walk, which she described as a faith walk on steroids. Although it was only for a short time, she loved the experiences she had. Each life that was touched during this experience, touched Ali and her testimony grew so much. She loved her Savior and we take comfort in knowing she is in His arms.

Ali is survived by her mom, who was her best friend, her brothers, their wives, and nieces and nephew. David (Becca), Sawyer, Charlie, and Presley Rogers, Heber City, and Matthew (Jade), Cooper and Ellis Rogers, Sanford, NC., and her Grandmother, Colleen Tolley. Also, many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly. She was the glue that held everyone together and she will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Verle Tolley and Howard and Alice Rogers.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 13, from 5:00-7:00pm and from 9:30-10:30am on Monday, July 14 with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am. All services will be held at the Heber 9th Ward, 325 E. 500 N., Heber City, UT. Interment will take place at the Heber City Cemetery following the services.
