Alissa Beth Wyatt, 47, of Victoria, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2024. She was born on February 25, 1977, in Austin, Texas, to Rabb Wyatt and Charlye Ann Duke-Dollins.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy., in Victoria, Texas. Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Grace Funeral Home in Victoria, Texas.
For over 20 years, Alissa dedicated her life to nursing at Detar and Citizens Hospital. She was a radiant spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand, filled with love and motivation. Her devotion to her children was unwavering, and she treated everyone with the same care she showed her own family. Alissa had a heart that overflowed with kindness and compassion. She cherished watching her children thrive, loved basketball, and was a passionate music lover. Alissa was not just the cornerstone of her family but also a beloved figure in her community, often stopping to rescue lost or injured animals. Her connections with her colleagues at Citizens and Detar were deep, and she was known for her warm hugs and infectious laughter, making every road trip a joyful adventure.
Alissa leaves behind a loving family, including her parents, Rabb Wyatt (Shirley) and Charlye Ann Duke-Dollins; her partner, Jarrad Barnett; daughters, Dariyn Layla Scott and Charlye Cathryn Scott; son, Isaac Monroe Simmons; sister, Leigh Anne Bailey (Alex); and brother, Robbie Wyatt (Tammy).
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Cathy Fossati Wyatt, as well as several uncles and aunts, including Jack, Will and Darrell Duke, Dottie and Sam Pruitt, Monta Fae and Lewis Kinsey, and Wayne and Iris Wyatt.
In her memory, donations can be made to the Victoria Nursing college scholarship program.
