Allan Campbell Beshore, age 62 of Raytown, Missouri died Thursday, June 8, 2023 at his home. He was born August 16, 1960 to Jackie Lee and Shirley Ann Crighton Beshore in Kansas City, Missouri.
Allan grew up in Raytown, Missouri where he graduated from Raytown South High School in 1978. He earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Allan was an inspector with the Missouri Public Service Commission, a manager and Engineer for natural gas transmission pipeline operators and an investigator with the NTSB. Allan became the Central Region Director for the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration in 2014. He retired as Central Region Director for PHMSA in 2020. On December 10, 2021 Allan married LaShanna Shontae Carter.
Allan had an angelic soul and was known to be witty, smart, determined, independent and loving. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. Allan cherished time spent with his wife, family and friends. He was an avid Chiefs fan. Allan enjoyed traveling, reading, fishing and being outdoors. He loved flowers, gardening and animals–especially his rescue cats, Jax and Maggie and dogs, Street, Alley, and Buttons.
Allan is survived by his wife, LaShanna Shontae Carter-Beshore of Raytown, Missouri; his mother, Shirley Beshore of Blue Springs, Missouri; his sister, Debra Beshore Griffin and husband Troy of Independence, Missouri; eight nieces, Brenna Abare and husband Blake, Rylie Chandler and husband Cameron, Taryn Griffin, Tamia Carter, Nevaeh Carter, Dayona Carter, Destiny Carter and Azaria Carter; a great-nephew, Bowen; two great-nieces, Elodie and Marlowe; mother-in-law, Tamala Carter, father-in-law, Willie Francisis; brothers-in-law, Damatreus Carter and Andre Carter. He is also survived by great friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Lee Beshore.
