Allan D. Chrysler, age 87, of the Town of Lee, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, at the Grand in Rome.
Allan was born in Lorraine, NY on January 23, 1938, to the late Elwin and Edna Roberts Chrysler, and graduated from RFA in 1956. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served from 1961-1965 and was honorably discharged. On December 28, 1965, he was united in marriage to the former Ann Marie Wagner; a blessed union of nearly 28 years until her passing on December 20, 1993. Allan was employed at Revere Copper Products where he worked as an electrician.
Allan enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He loved music, especially blue grass and was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers from Osceola. He was a member of the Camden VFW and Lee American Legion.
Allan is survived by his sons, Allan (Julie) Chrysler Jr., and Harold (SueAnn) Chrysler; his grandchildren, Matthew (Abby), Samantha (John), Trevor, Taylor (Dominick), Michael (Sara), and Grace (Dalton); three great grandchildren, Maggie, Wesley, and Charlotte; his sisters, Lynda (John) Holmes, Constance (James) Coy, and Catherine (Gary) Hanba; his brothers, Walter Chrysler, and Richard (Judy) Chrysler; his sister in law, Janet Chrysler; his longtime companion, Juanita Tyler, and her daughter, Betty (Kelvin Carney) Tyler, and their children, Emmy and Syri; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, William "Bill" Chrysler and Elwin R. Chrysler who passed away shortly after birth.
Allan's funeral will be held on Friday, October 24, at 2 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial with military honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon to 2 PM prior to the funeral.
