Allan Victor Hoad II, age 50 of Cameron, NY passed away tragically on Monday, October 21, 2024. Allan, known to all as Moose, was born on November 8, 1973 in Hornell, NY to the late Allan Victor Hoad and Patricia (Henry) Bulkley. He married Wanda Stoddard on July 21, 2001.
Moose will be remembered for his outgoing personality, love for the Buffalo Bills, and passion for hunting. Moose loved deeply. The only things that he may have loved more than his family were his two rottweilers, Warden and Ranger. Moose enjoyed his work with heavy equipment. He was a man who stood firm on his beliefs and encouraged all to be as devoted to our nation as he was. Moose left a lasting impact on all that knew and loved him. He will be remembered as being the life of the party whose goal was to get a laugh out of everyone. There may be a hole in it, but he'd give the shirt off his back to anyone. Moose raised his children on stories of the good ole days. He spent many nights on the porch listening to George Jones, Hank Williams Jr and Alan Jackson. If you were with Moose, you would, without a doubt find a glass of iced tea. There are so many more things to say about Moose and the kind father, husband, son, uncle, nephew, and friend he was. He will be incredibly missed.
Moose was predeceased by his father Allan Victor Hoad, his mother and father-in-law, Neil and Vickie Stoddard, nephew, David Stoddard, and two of his very best friends, Dean Cole and Frankie Rundell. He is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Wanda, daughters Harley (Austin) Cole, Frankiegh (Braden) Hoad, Allanah (Seth) Meade, and son Hunter Stoddard, mother, Patricia (Fred) Bulkley, granddaughter, Brennalyn Brazie, brothers, Matt Stoddard and Brian Peterson, his two protectors, Ranger and Warden, his little nephew, Leroy, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Flint Funeral Home 10 Wall Street Addison, New York 14801. A graveside service will immediately follow at the Northrup Hill Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather at Riverstone Events (3484 Saunders Rd) to celebrate the life of Moose immediately after the burial service.
