Allan Richard Kennett

BELMONT ---- Allan Richard Kennett, 56, of Gilmanton Road, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Allan was born on January 1, 1968, in Concord, NH, the son of Donna Cole-Grant. Allan was not only the first baby to be born on New Years Day, but the first baby to be born at the Concord Hospital-Concord birthing unit.
Allan worked for various companies driving tractor trailers and dump trucks, such as CRST, Cormier Builders and Casella Waste Systems. Prior to trucking he worked at Webster Valve for over 20 years, where he acquired the nicknames AK and Silverback. He loved his Valve Family. Once he obtained his CDL-A he questioned why he hadn't done it sooner. He loved traveling in those big trucks, and telling his loved ones all about his adventures over the road. Allan enjoyed fishing, hunting, PC gaming, and collecting firearms. He was the biggest New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Family was everything to Allan; he was a family man. He loved spending time with his loved ones. He kept the once tradition of apple picking with his daughter's every year going, by taking his grandchildren every year. Some of their greatest memories together.
Allan was a wonderful father to his daughters; he took them on countless adventures whether it was Funspot on the weekends or Water Country every summer and everywhere else in-between. He instilled his hard working work ethic into his girls as well as his drive and motivation to always do and be better. His advice to his girls was, "As long as you're not hurting yourself or others, you can do whatever you want." He was always making us laugh by making up words and phrases, remember Tamagotchis? Well to him they were called ticklemygoochies. Whenever driving by a farm that had fresh manure it was, "Yuckie caca poopoo." He was always doing whatever he could to keep a smile on our faces and laughs in our bellies. These silly moments and words are something we'll hold close to our hearts. Allan was such a good son to his mother. He would cook dinner every Saturday and breakfast every Sunday for them to enjoy together. After all he was a "Momma's boy." We'll all cherish these moments and forever have our time together etched into our memories.
Allan is survived by his daughters Maria "Needle Butt" Kennett and Brittany "Pumpkinhead" Talbot-Kennett (partner Charles Davis IV); mother Donna Cole-Grant; brothers Todd Kennett and Trevor Kennett (wife Shauna Kennett); grandchildren Selena Mae Sottile-Vroman (husband Devan Vroman-Sottile) and Richard Allan Gray; niece Miranda Threlfall (partner James Dearborn); nephew Trenton Kennett; as well as many aunts and uncles. Allan is predeceased by his grandmother Freda McHugh.
Allan will forever be known for his big heart, his sense of humor, being a gentle giant and the kindest soul. He would give you the shirt off his back, his last dollar, and the biggest bear hugs. How we will miss those hugs. His laugh was contagious and his smile could light up a room. He touched the lives of all that knew him. His presence will forever be missed and he will live on through those that loved him. Thank you for the greatest memories. We'll forever cherish the time we got with you.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life is expected to happen after the New Year.
