Allan Muchler, 64, went home to be with the lord on Wednesday December 11, 2024.

Allan was born to the late Jack and Gertrude Muchler on December 13, 1959 in Wilkes-Barre. He was the most devoted, loving son. He helped and supported his father through cancer treatments until his passing in 2008. Soon after, he began dedicating every other weekend to visiting his mother making sure she was taken care of up until her passing in 2023. He was also the best brother to his older sister, Diane Muchler-Small who he enjoyed visiting in Virginia and in Florida until her untimely death in 2004.

Allan's childhood could be described as some of the best days of his life. Playing baseball, fishing, riding bikes and playing outside with friends are memories he would fondly talk about often. As he got a little older, he spent more of his time with his high school sweetheart Carol, driving around in his Pontiac executive and discovered his love of music.

He graduated from Hanover Area High School in 1977 and moved to Macungie where he attended Lincoln Technical Institute. He graduated from LTI in 1979 where he would go on to use his degree in Electronics Technology at Kulicke & Soffa. He was the manager of field service for 25 years. There he had many opportunities to journey all over the world. He loved sharing stories of his travels. This is where he also met some of his favorite, lifelong friends. He was employed there until 2004 when he left to pursue a career in home repair services. He was incredibly talented and loved working with his hands. There was nothing he couldn't do. And if he couldn't, his determination to be able to help meant he would figure out how.

He was the most incredible father to his children, Rachel (Dan), Lauren, and Brennan. His unwavering love and dedication as a father shined brighter than the sun. He was the biggest cheerleader, loved with a fierceness unlike any other, giver of the best hugs and always made sure everyone was safe and happy. With heavy, broken hearts, he will be missed immensely by his children until the end of time.

He adored his grandchildren, Ace, Delaney, and Hailey. He loved that he shared the same passion for the drums with Ace. He would chuckle while hearing a Delaney story and always called her baby baby baby at the start of each phone call. He made every effort to be present in Hailey's life from the day she was born. He will forever be missed by each of them.

He was the most generous, selfless friend to all. He would give you the shirt off his back even if that meant he didn't have another for himself. He helped anyone and everyone who may have needed it and would often do it for nothing in return. His kindness was immeasurable.

He enjoyed a nice glass of crown royal, relaxing on the beach, watching NCIS (even the reruns) & basically anything on MeTV. He loved his paper maps, listening to feel good music on his CD's, going to concerts, spending Friday nights with his best friends and enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He loved the movie remember the titans and old black and white movies that he's never even heard of. He meticulously cared for his red jeep Cherokee that has been around for so long that it's become a part of the family. One of his favorite things was getting to be the coach for his children's soccer and baseball games. It made his heart happy to be involved whenever he could. Speaking a bit of gibberish and having nicknames for everyone he loved rounded out our Allan. He was one in a million and will be missed for the rest of time.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Muchler-Small. He is survived by his children, grand children, cousins and friends.

Allan has touched the lives of so many in so many different ways. To know him was to love him. Without a shadow of a doubt, his incredible soul and heart of gold will continue to shine through all who knew him.
