Allan Roy Petersen

Allan Roy Petersen "Pops", a resident of Zachary and a native of Oregon, he died on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024. He was 66 years old and he was former owner of Allan Petersen Carpentry for 32 years. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024 from 12pm until 2pm service. Burial will be in Feliciana Rest Cemetery, Slaughter. He is survived by his daughters, Dargie Sutton and Leah Inman and husband, Carl and a son, Allan Petersen and wife, Laurie. His girlfriend, Theresa Mars. Sisters, Teffani Andrews, Marilyn Hill, Tina Petersen, Arlene Waite and Nancy Lee Glenn Taylor. 2 brothers, Allen Petersen and wife, Bonnie and Jonathan Petersen. Special uncle, Harold Petersen and special aunts, Sharon Crowson and Arletta Nicholson. 7 grandchildren, Lanie Ziegler and husband, Matthew, Alyssa Petersen, Nathan Petersen, Trevor Nelson, Braden Inman, Mayson Inman and Jeweleah Inman. Great granddaughter, Raelynn Ramos due in Feb. 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte Rainbolt and Albert Petersen and 7 siblings.
Pallbearers will be Allan Petersen, Nathan Petersen, Lanie Ziegler, Edward McQueary, Brandon Andrews and Richard Ramos. He had a love for carpentry work. His hobbies were fishing and fixing anything he could fix. He was very active in his grandchildren's lives. He never failed to crack a joke at any given time.
