Allan B deSchweinitz, of Surprise, Arizona, born June 30, 1943 in Salem,Oregon to Edmund Alexander deSchweinitz and Mira Belt deSchweinitz died September 19, 2023 in Pacific City, Oregon surrounded by his family.
Allan graduated from South Salem High School in 1961. He then attended the University of Oregon and Willamette Law School, obtaining Bachelor of Science in Law and Doctor of Jurisprudence degrees.
He married Leslie Elizabeth Starbuck on August 28, 1963 in Dallas, Oregon.
He practiced law in Medford, Oregon for 35 years as a partner in the firms Haviland, deSchweinitz, Stark and Hammack, then at Frohnmayer, Deatherage, deSchweinitz, Pratt and Jamieson and finally deSchweinitz and Hamilton.
Golf was his favorite leisure activity. He was a member of both Rogue Vally Country Club and Reames Country Club in Klamath Falls and spent many happy hours playing with his golf groups at both locations.
He also enjoyed skiing with his family at Mt. Bachelor, vacationing at his homes in Sunriver and Pacific City, Oregon and traveling with his wife, Leslie.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie, as well as brother George of Grants Pass, Oregon, daughter Ann DeSchweinitz Janeway ( Scott) of Dallas, Oregon, son William DeSchweinitz (Teressa Bertram) of Bend, Oregon and daughter Katherine deSchweinitz Lee (Leighton) of Palmer, Alaska and five grandchildren. No service will be held for Allan at this time. Bollman's Tribute Center is caring for the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Oregon Humane Society or the Pacific City Doryman's Association Cultural Trust, 32305 Pine Road, Pacific City, Oregon, 97135.

My sympathy and condolence goes out to Allan's family for their loss. Allan was my classmate all our years at South Salem High School graduating in 1961. Rest in peace Allan and we will meet again. Chris Bedsaul
