Allen H. Fidelholtz

Allen H. Fidelholtz, age 88 of North Canton, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Al was born in Canton on July 2, 1937, to the late Jack and Esther (Cascianni) Fidelholtz. He was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School, and later retired from the Ford Motor Company, where he was a pipe fitter for over 20 years. Prior to that, Al was an employee of Republic Steel. He was also the owner and operator of Value Carpet in Canton and Allen's Carpet Depot in Strasburg. Al enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Zakaski) Fidelholtz and his sister Carol Clark. He is survived by three sons and daughter in law, Mike (Linda) Fidelholtz, Steve Fidelholtz (Sunshine Dover), and Joe Fidelholtz; grandchildren Katie (Connor) Marrero and Kari (Ross) Chawansky; and great-grandchildren Jackson, Austen, and Fiona.

Al will be remembered for his tireless work ethic, his entrepreneurial spirit, and of course, the incredible stories he told about his life and times. Though he has left this world, Al's legacy endures in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday morning in the funeral home at 11 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit officiating. Entombment will be at North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Al's memory.
