Allen Thomas Fleming, age 84, of Emerald, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026.
Allen was born in Emerald, Wisconsin, he lived a life defined by hard work and independence. He was the owner and operator of a salvage yard and gas station, where he worked for many years and was known for his dependability.
Allen was married to his wife, Janice, together they raised two sons, Mikell and Marty. He was a devoted husband and a proud father. He had a deep love for the outdoors spending much of his free time fishing and hunting. Being outside was where he felt most at home, many of his best memories were made outdoors with family and friends.
Allen will be missed by all who knew him.
Allen is survived by his loving wife, Janice Fleming; his sons, Mikell (Marilee) Fleming and Marty (Vi) Fleming; his brother, Clarence Fleming; plus, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Hazel Fleming; four sisters; and his grandson, Joshua.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at O’Connell Funeral Home, Baldwin, Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. the following day, Monday, January 12, 2026, at First Baptist Church, Woodville, Wisconsin, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow the service.
Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church for a new church sign.
O’Connell Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
