I can remember the first day I met Al; playing cards on his bed at St. Lawrence University as entering freshman, class of 1958. He became my best friend for the next four years and we shared memories which I still relive to this day. One doesn't meet a person like Al every day and I was that lucky one! I did get to see Al after we left college, but not as much as I would have liked. If you had a chance to hear him sing, that would have been something. He was my inspiration to join my residential choir when I was in my 70's. I could have written a book about our friendship, but I never was good in English. My dear "buddy" rest in peace and may your memory be for a blessing. Jerry Levine
