Allen Renwick Roberts, a devoted father, grandfather, and loving fiancé, passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on December 19, 1960, in Dallas, Georgia, Allen lived a life filled with compassion, warmth, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.
Affectionately known as "Pawndexter" to those closest to him, Allen was a source of strength and guidance to his children, Amber and Kasey, as well as his precious grandson, Zaiden and soon to be granddaughter, Galaxy Wilson. His caring nature and enduring presence will be deeply missed by his mother, Maxine Roberts, who cherished the time they spent together.
Allen is survived by his fiance of 40 years, Michele Reece; his son, Kasey Roberts; his daughter, Amber Roberts; his mother, Maxine Roberts; his grandson, Zaiden Roberts and his soon to be granddaughter, Galaxy Wilson; a step-sister, Tiffany Barnes; and many cousins.
Throughout his life, Allen found joy in the simple pleasures - working outside in the yard, utilizing his skills as an overhead crane operator, and building things with his own hands. He had an incredible ability to fix anything, earning him the nickname "McGyver" among his loved ones. His talent and ingenuity were admired by all.
In his free time, Allen indulged in his passion for music, using it to lift the spirits of those around him. He was a pillar of support to his neighbors and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand. Additionally, Allen had a knack for engaging in lively discussions and debates, showcasing his sharp intellect and quick wit.
A Visitation for Allen will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 26, 2024 at Clark Funeral Home and Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 209 W Cooper Ave
Dallas, Georgia 30132. Allen will lie in state from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery, 86 Hart Rd, Dallas, Georgia 30157.
These moments will provide an opportunity for friends, family, and members of the community to come together and pay their respects to the extraordinary life of Allen Renwick Roberts.
Allen Renwick Roberts, with his big heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for his family, has left an indelible mark on the lives he touched. He will forever be remembered as a compassionate and sentimental soul, deeply missed but always cherished in our hearts.
