Burial:
With profound sorrow we announce the passing of our little brother, Allen Wideman. Allen's struggles in this life ended on August 24, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Bonnie Wideman, who we trust have welcomed him at the end of his journey. He is survived by his siblings, Barbara, Bobby, and Mark, and will be missed by nieces, nephews, and friends who became family.
Born and raised in a midwestern home, Allen always carried the memories of his childhood days with him. He relished the comfort found in familiar stories and the profound peace of the Ozarks' natural beauty. He was a man who loved the fresh air and found solace among the trees and hills he called home.
Those who knew Allen will remember his vibrant spirit. He had a genuine laugh that could light up a room. He loved to engage with others, to share a joke, and to connect in a way that was uniquely his own. Though his later years were shadowed by personal conflict, the memory we choose to hold is of his smile and hearty laugh.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Alcoholics Anonymous (https://www.aa.org), an organization dedicated to helping others find their way through the darkness of addiction.
Rest now, little brother. Your struggle is over. May you find the peace you sought.
