Allison Crossen

Allison Maria Crossen age 50 of Dalton passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rachel and Bill Stripling; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Starks; and father-in-law, Roger Crossen.
Allison was a proud graduate of Georgia Tech, where she received her bachelor's degree as well as her master's degree. She worked at North Georgia EMC for over 21 years where she was a manager of industrial accounts. Allison loved her family very much and enjoyed being a "dance mom" for her daughter, Abby, for several years and enjoyed attending all her son Sam's ballgames. Allison wants to especially be remembered as a true follower of Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Chris Crossen of Dalton; daughter, Abby Crossen of Dalton; son, Sam Crossen of Dalton; mother, Donna Hayes of Dalton; father and step-mother, Michael and Barbara Hayes of Crawfordville, FL; mother-in-law, Carol Crossen of Varnell; sister and sister-in-law, Kari and Debbie Chin of Tallahassee, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Ashlyn and Jon Smalling of Acworth, GA; brother, Patrick Hayes of Ringgold; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Tony and Mandy Crossen of Varnell, and Cory Robertson of Waco, GA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends who have been so supportive over the years.
The family will receive friends at Grove Level Baptist Church on Thursday, March 14th from 11:00am until the service time at 4:00pm.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 4:00 pm with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating and her co-worker Harriette Stokes and her husband Chris Crossen giving eulogies. A few special songs that meant a lot to Allison will also be played.
