Alma (Montagno) Caron, 95, of Carver died Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Tobey Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Roland Caron.

Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Antonio and Marie (Guertin) Montagno, she lived in Woodland Hills, California for many years before moving back to Massachusetts in 1989, where she resided in Carver for the rest of her life.

Alma was a graduate of Brockton High School.

She was employed as a chef for the Sisters of St. Louis at the Louisville Convent in Woodland Hills, CA for several years, where she cooked for the nuns including preparing their favorite meal for each of their birthdays.

Her hobbies included bowling, golfing, BINGO and going to Foxwoods where she often beat the house at Blackjack.

Alma was very family oriented and showered them with love. The home she created for her family was warm, cozy and inviting. She was a very sweet, thoughtful, loving and generous woman to all.

She is survived by two children, Linda and David Caron; her granddaughter, Megan Young; two great-grandchildren, Lily and Christopher; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Leslie Caron and Lori Hinshaw; and three sisters, Marie McLaughlin, Rose Nichols, and Rita Peterson.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 94 High St., Wareham, with everyone invited to meet directly at the Church.
