Alma C. Etzweiler

Alma C. Etzweiler, 91, of Herndon, passed away on May 18, 2024, at the Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehab, Millersburg. She was born in Gratz on January 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Earl and Ida (Erdman) Kissinger.
Alma worked at several sewing factories, Puritan Fashions and retired form Lebros Shirt factory in Lykens, Alma was an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed working outside at her home, flower gardening, cats and sewing. She also enjoyed bus trips when she was able to go. She was a member of Saint Paul's UCC (Urban), Herndon.
Alma is survived by a daughter, Barbara Branchick and husband Dennis of Herndon; grandson, Michael Spicher of Erie, Colorado; granddaughter, Melissa Smyk of Tower City; great-grandson, Bryce Smyk of Tower City; two sisters, Violet Snyder of Millersburg and Bonita Lesher of Herndon and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, James E. Etzweiler in September of 2023, they were married 69 years. In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by sisters Anna Hollenbach, Hilda Walters, Helen Kissinger, Betty Klock, Shirley Matter and brothers, Alvin Kissinger, Ralph Kissinger and Marlin Kissinger.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in the Saint Paul's Cemetery, Urban.
