Dean E. Etzweiler

MILLERSBURG - Dean E. Etzweiler, age 67, of Millersburg, PA died October 30, 2025, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born on September 7, 1958 in Harrisburg, PA the son of the late Harvey Etzweiler and Rita (Keiter) Michael.
Dean was married to Lisa (Hoke) Etzweiler for 44 years.
Dean attended Millersburg High School. He retired as shipping clerk from Brubaker's after 49 years of service.
Dean was a member of the Valley's E. C. Church, Halifax. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Nascar, and western movies, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Lisa, he is survived by his daughter Stephanie Spotts (Matthew), daughter Tiffany Nau (Ryan), his mother-in-law Miriam Hoke, grandchildren Taber Spotts (Alexia), Brady Spotts, Liam Neiswender, Skylar Nau, Hunter Nau, and Emma Neiswender. He is also survived by his sister Arlene Sedesse (Michael), sister Gail Matter, brother Terry Etzweiler (Lisa), and brother-in-law Richard E. Hoke, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Matthew Dean Etzweiler, a brother Gary Etzweiler, his father-in-law Donald L. Hoke, his brother-in-law Robert Matter, and a niece Crystal Matter.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025 at the Valley's E.C. Church, Halifax from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM. Services will begin at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
