Alma Louise Linville Rice Moore, of Mt. Olivet, age 82, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born in Mason County on July 17, 1941, to the late Clarence Jack and Omia Keaton Linville. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Rice, and second husband, Franklin Moore; sons, Harold Oza Rice Jr., and Jeffrey Lynn Rice; brothers, Paul Linville, Everette Linville, Billy Linville; half brothers, James Linville, Woodrow Linville; half-sister, Garnet Perrine; granddaughter, Trina Insko; and great-grandson, Carson Pollitt.
Alma is survived by her son, Steven Edward Rice; daughters, Teresa (Newell) Pollitt, Opal (Anthony) Truesdell; sisters, Donna (Howard) Leach, Mary Jett; grandchildren, Bubby (Kayla) Pollitt, Amanda (Aaron) DeFoe; step-grandchildren, Gabriel Moore, John Moore; great-grandchildren, Adrianna DeFoe, Alex DeFoe, Ava Pollitt, Adeline Pollitt, Cameron Pollitt, Damien Insko, Gabby Insko, Jeremy Insko, Justin Fowler, Hailey Hooks, Gavin Insko; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Public visitation will be Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Robertson County Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Bubby Pollitt, Anthony Truesdell, Aaron DeFoe, Newell Pollitt, Gavin Insko and Damien Insko. View and sign the guest book www.warefuneralhome.com.
