Mrs. Alma Wright Moser, age 87, 0f Mt. Airy, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born on April 12, 1938 in Surry County to the late Robert and Mary Snow Wright. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Steve Marsh (Tina Thompson), Bobby Marsh (Donna Shinault); grandchildren, Audrey Simpson, Sam Marsh (Becca), Daniel Marsh (Ashley), David Caudle (Abby), Amber Taylor (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Riley Marsh, Vivian Marsh, Ruth Marsh, Vera Caudle, and Isaac Caudle; sisters, Faye Sawyers (Rev. Bill Watson), Wilma McCraw (Larry), Linda Kidder; brothers, Donald, and Billy Wright. In addition to her parents, Robert and Mary Snow Wright, Mrs. Moser was preceded in death by her first husband, J.C Marsh; second husband, Leo Moser; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Dianne (Tim) Hiatt ; grandchildren, Steven Marsh; Tim Simpson; brothers, Alan Wright and Bobby Wright; and a nephew, Brandon Snow. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Union Hill Friends Church with service conducted by Rev. Bill Watson, and her grandson, Sam Marsh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 PM until the time for the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Dr Suite 101, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
