Alric was born on November 24, 1959, in Breaux Bridge. He lived a life of dedication and hard work, proudly serving as a welder in the oil field industry for Turner Industries for four decades. Outside of work he loved being outdoors. He had a love for fishing and any chance he had he was on the water. He enjoyed the thrill of NHRA competitions and recently renovated his "man cave" where he would watch fishing tv shows and eating snacks with his best friends; his two dogs, Pink and Lucy.
Alric loved his family greatly and he cherished his time spent with them, especially with his dear grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tammy Vincent Delahoussaye; sons, Kyle Delahoussaye (Kimberly) and Travis Delahoussaye (Wendy); grandchildren, Brylan Villien, Berlynn Hubbard, Dagan Delahoussaye, Ashtyn Delahoussaye, Brynlee Delahoussaye, Zoë Delahoussaye, and Mason Delahoussaye; brothers, Kaven Delahoussaye (Marella) and Arden Delahoussaye (Rhonda); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Avery Delahoussaye and Edna LeBlanc Delahoussaye; brothers, Gerald Delahoussaye and Mark Delahoussaye; and his nephew, Justin Delahoussaye.
