Alton Lewis “Bubba” Adams went to heaven on Monday, January 27, 2025, after an extended battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 5:00pm -7:00pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Green Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 3:00pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Park Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Dovey officiating. Burial will follow the service at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Allen Argenti, Dennis Adams, Wayne Mitchell, Sam Ellis, Keith Ellis, Wayne Davis, Wayne Brock, and Jim Mullis, serving as pallbearers.

Bubba was born in Montgomery, AL and lived there until he and his family moved to Troy when he was in 5th grade. He graduated from Charles Henderson High School, class of 1974. He never met a stranger and had friends all around town! He was an avid Alabama fan and one could hear him yell “Roll Tide!!” every week in the fall of the year. His favorite hobby was buying and selling cars, such as a corvettes, jeeps, motorcycles, and especially trucks…anything he could trade or make a deal. He also loved to golf and hunt in his free time. Bubba worked in the trucking business for decades. He married his high school sweetheart, Angie Brock, in 1975. Bubba was a member of Park Memorial Methodist Church, and he will be missed by all who knew him and cared for him.

Bubba left behind his loving wife of 49 years, Angie B. Adams to cherish all their memories; his children, Heather Walker (Brent), Blake Adams (Lydia); his grandchildren, Cameron, Lola, and Waylon; his father, Alphus C. Adams; his brother, Ronnie Adams; his nieces and nephews, Troy Brock, Tracy Moore, Brock Davis, Lauren Kilcrease, and Alex Adams; as well as many cousins and extended family members. He also leaves behind his friends and former coworkers at KW Plastic Recycling who loved Bubba and enjoyed his many visits after retirement. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Adams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Adams family.
