When his boys were younger he would take them in the woods to ride dirt bikes and 4 wheelers through the trails and birthed some of their fondest memories. He taught his sons as much as he could and fought life with them to fill the end with all he had. He maintained Feeling lonely in his last days being that his boys are now men with their own lives. It must've been hard for him being that he was so devoted he was to his family. If there is anything anyone can take from this beautiful man leaving this earth it is to treat every moment with your loved ones like it's the last because one day it will be. and you don't want to miss your chance to reassure them that they are not alone in this world and that they are loved truly and fully. Let these be his last words " Once more into the fray, into the last good fight I'll ever know
Live and die on this day,live and die on this day" Survived by his sons Alton Hall lll, Joshua Hall, Derek Hall, and Aaron Hall, His step children Roy, Melissa, Gary, Chris, His grandchildren Caden, Hailey, Bella, Aria, Jaredy,Michelly, Lavender, Mia, Aaron Jr,Ayden,Juliana,Aries, Jada, Yaya, his adopted children Nekia, Janey his Sisters Tressanne Reed of Newburgh NY Florine Baynes Pipkins (Gerald ) of Raleigh NC Brothers: James LC Troublefield Sr. of Statesville NC Arthur Brunson of Middletown NY, Donald Reed of Newburgh NY and Rudolph Reed of Texas.
He was predeceased by Mother Geraldine Edna Reed, Father Alton Hall Sr., Sisters Joyce Reed,Patricia Dumbar, and Brother David Reed.
A Visitation is being held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00PM. Cremation will be private. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Alton, please visit our Tree Store.
