Alton Kevin Thouvenel, 62, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2025 at Annetta Cemetery, Annetta.
Kevin was born on June 6, 1963 to Alton and Judy Thouvenel in Fort Worth. He graduated from Aledo High School with the class of 1981. He played football, but his passion was being a pitcher on the baseball team.
Kevin loved fishing, and working with his hands. He worked construction jobs for most of his life, and could figure out how to make most things work. If he wasn’t outside, he wasn’t happy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alton Thouvenel.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Judy Gordon Thouvenel; his sisters, Kelly Preston, and Keitha Carter and her husband, Brad. He had several nieces and a nephew, as well as three great-nephews, and a special-great niece he lovingly referred to as “Strawberry”. Kevin is also survived by his girlfriend, Tonja Snyder.
Tonja stood by Kevin through thick and thin, and the family is grateful for her loving devotion.
