Penny Lee Brannon Fisher, 67, passed away Thursday August 7, 2025 in Cisco after a long battle with cancer.

Penny was born on the 4 th of July in 1958 in Fort Worth to Carol Stuard and Joseph Brannon. Penny was a 1976 graduate of Aledo High School where she excelled at many things including sports and choir. If you never heard Penny sing, you really missed out. She loved music and you could usually hear her singing along and enjoying all types of music. Just as much as she loved music, she loved her family and friends more. Penny never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. More than anything, Penny was a proud mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend.

Penny is proceeded in death by her brother Joseph Brannon Jr, and her long-time best friend Debbie Detherage Templin. We know both of these beautiful souls and her other family and friends will be there to greet her when she gets to heaven.

Penny is mourned by her three children Angela Wigley (Kevin), Rebecca Decker (JR) and William Fisher (Amber); her mother and stepfather Carol and Willard Stuard; father and stepmother Joseph and Jeanetta Brannon: sisters Elizabeth Brannon, Josie Brannon (James), Sarah Mason (Joe), and Jeana Gofinch; brothers David Brannon and Josh Brannon (Melissa). Grandchildren Victoria Wigley Rasheed), Alyssa Wigley (Jake), Collin Wigley, Delanie Wigley (Quentin), Emma Wigley, Sinclaire Decker and Sullivan Decker; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

Although we will miss her, we know she is in a better place, in peace and no longer suffering.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4

A celebration of life will be held for Penny with details pending.
