Alvera C. Biolo
"Beloved mother, grandmother & great-grandmother"
Alvera C. "Vera" (Guerrera) Biolo, 94, formerly of Lorraine Street, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Louis J. Biolo, Sr.
Vera was born in Waterbury on January 15, 1930, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Clara (Duccillo) Guerrera. Vera was a hairdresser by trade. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and loved the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.
She leaves her two sons, Louis J. Biolo, Jr. and his wife, Rosanne, of Waterbury, and Stephen G. Biolo of Bristol, her seven loving grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Corrine Guerrera.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February, 28, 2024 at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 182 Robbins Street, Waterbury. Anyone wishing to attend the Mass is asked to meet directly at the Church on Wednesday. There are no calling hours. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with handling Alvera's services.
