Patricia M. (Mancinone) Biolo, 84, of Watertown, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home after a very short illness on Friday, October 6, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Biolo Jr.
Patricia was born in Pittston, PA on May 13, 1939, daughter of the late Pasquale "Pat" and Ida (Trolio) Mancinone. She graduated from Wilby High School, Class of 1957.
Above all her family was her heart. She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Family was her number one enjoyment with her five boys being her pride & joy and greatest accomplishment. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking for holidays and Sunday dinners for the entire family. Baking was her specialty which she shared with her grandchildren, especially making her Italian cookies with them. She was an avid Yankee fan, a book enthusiast reading whenever she could, she loved movies, traveling and of course, Friday night cards with "The Girls". Her vacations & trips were always a cherished memory but she treasured her beach vacations with family & friends every year. She worked in the banking industry as a mortgage specialist starting at Colonial Bank & Trust, then Bank of Boston, Center Bank for over 30 years retiring from Wachovia in 2004.
Patricia leaves to honor and cherish her memory; five sons, John P. Biolo III and his wife Cindy of Wolcott, Robert P. Biolo and his wife Sandra of Watertown, Gary J. Biolo and his wife Diane of Little River, SC, Brian A. Biolo and his wife Judy of Wolcott, and Jeffrey M. Biolo and his wife Tracy of Watertown; ten grandchildren, Erica Pawson (Bob), Nicole Nolan (Eric), Brooke Byrne (Ryan), Paige Biolo, Katelyn Biolo, Samantha Biolo, Jessica Biolo, Melissa Biolo, Gianna Biolo and John Biolo; four great grandchildren, Robert, Dustin, Evan, and Ella; three brothers, Leonard Mancinone and his wife Kay, Raymond Mancinone and his wife Barbara all of Wolcott, and Daniel Mancinone and his wife Karen of Beacon Falls; and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Ann Grenier.
Arrangements: Funeral will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 8:45 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, to St. John the Evangelist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Queen of Peace Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
