February 10, 1957, is the "Moon Phase," called a Waxing Crescent phase; February also has a special moon – known as Snow Moon. Yes, the month of February especially the 10th day of the month is always an incredible day. On this day, a Titan spirit; incredible brother, humble man and loyal friend rose from the ashes to capture the hearts of many – this amazing person is my baby brother, Curtis. Marvin, a friend in Los Angeles said, "You had an amazing brother. A good person! It is gonnah be lonely walking past there" (referring to Curtis' favorite bench). He continued, "I can't be sad that Little is gone, I just have to be happy that I knew him." Josiah, wept, then mentioned how Curtis would engage him on various movies. His friend, Les could always be depended upon for the smallest of things. Brett told him, "If you ever need me, call me." Curtis called Brett, "My brother and meant every word." Danielle, his favorite, play sister – always made sure Curtis was good! Curtis adored her.
Curtis' best friend, Larry Holley has been in a loyal and trusted friend since he was eight or nine years old. Curtis called him, "My little brother." The crazy exploits of these two always left me in stitches: Prince concerts, family events – always together. Larry immersed Curtis into his immediate family. Yes, they are Brothers Forever! Their bond is eternal and was such a blessing.
It is difficult to think about my brother no longer physically on this earth. Curtis is with the angels now. His heart was pure. Curtis loved and adored his nieces and nephews, Karima, and Robbie; Charles and Verneader and Joanne were always close to his heart; his great nephew Karim shared the same birthday and Curtis always spoke with enthusiasm about the day Karim was born! Curtis bragged about the Engineer, saying, "he's real smart, Denise." Tre, the basketball phenom wasj something Curtis watched with immense pride. The videos in his possession of this incredible talent made Curtis so proud. Curtis was proud of the relationship Otis and William developed with their children. For as long as the sun touches the sky, I will miss Curtis. GOD has blessed him with fantastic nephews and nieces Karima and Robbie; Great nieces and Great nephews, Kylie McCoy, Kacey Little, Aretyu Little, Robert Little, III (aka Tre); Karim Dallas Newell; Verneader Little; Joanne Williams, Charles Williams; amazing niece-in-law, Courtney Little; Cousins who shared so much with him: Barry (aka Doobie), Bobby, Shane, Alfie, Meishie, Joyce, Gregory and Dwayne.
GOD royally blessed me with three incredible brothers: William, Otis, and Curtis. We had the best sibling connection – we did not agree on everything, but it always worked out. I had the best brothers in the world, and I am honored to have walked this earth with them. It is an honor to be their sister. I thank GOD for my mom who breathed life into our souls; GOD bless you Mom, William, Otis, and Curtis
