Alvin Reynolds King, 69, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Union Hospital in Dover. He was born September 7, 1955 in Cambridge, to the late (Doc) Fisher and Josephine (Farley) King. He had a career in construction work and as a mechanic. The one thing Alvin liked most was putting together cars, and next would be going for motorcycle rides. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends when he could. He also enjoyed fishing, gazing at the stars, cookouts, long rides on country roads. It gave him great joy to be able to help other people whenever he could. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews riding four-wheelers. Al loved to work outside so he always had jobs like construction work, roofing, etc. On July 29th, 2000, he married his wife, Jennifer King who survives. In addition to his wife, Alvin is survived his sons; Kenneth (Tyler) King of Cambridge, Timothy (T.J.) King of Barnesville, and Kevin King also of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Sailyn, Javin, Braxton, Dakota, Olivia, Catie and Gunner Lashare, Kylee and Gregory Garris Sr, Kadin, Kody, Bryce, and Elliot; great-grandchildren, Avalynne, Gregory Jr., Kyrell, Leilani, Charlie, Alaya, Staci, Madlein, Kaiser; sisters, Juanita Clark of Sugarcreek, Alla Johnson of IL, Fawn (Raymond) Wayble of Freeport, Lassy Street or NC, Wenonah Waugh of Newcomerstown, Brenda (Jimmy) Collins of Byesville; brother, Timothy King of Cambridge; sister-in-law, Mary King; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in by his brothers, Hiawatha and Pawnee King; brothers-in-law, Roy Street, Robert Clark II, and Roger Johnson; sisters-in-law, Shirley King and Paulette Durben.
