Alvin Lee McNeese

Alvin Lee McNeese, AKA "Slim", age 77, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025. Born on May 8, 1948, in Tifton, Georgia, Alvin was the beloved son of the late Leoy McNeese and Florene Davidson. He will be remembered by his 5 daughters, Carol Farr, Cathy Bewersdorf, Leesa Willis, Melanie Freer, and Alexis McNeese, as well as his grandchildren Aaron Mock, Andrew McNeese, Hillary Mock, Miranda Langdale, Taylor Mock, Rayna Price, Elise McNabb, Elvis Taylor, Ozzy Taylor, and Poppy Taylor.
Alvin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant before retiring. Following his military service, he applied his skills as a metalist working for GE, Clover Enterprises, and the North Charleston Sewer District.
While Alvin was a homebody at heart, he had a remarkable way of connecting with people. He enjoyed good conversation and never turned down an opportunity to share a story and a laugh, especially with his "counter critter" friends at Flowertown. He also had a passion for salt-water fishing and a lifelong interest in staying current with technology, always curious and always learning.
A celebration of his life is being planned for the near future.
