Alvin Leslie Parrish

Alvin Leslie Parrish, 64, Panama City Beach, Florida passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Alvin was born the son of Houston E. and Jean Parrish on March 1, 1961 in Panama City.
He had a lifelong love for and excelled in Baseball. He was a journeyman pipefitter welder (Local 229).
He was a proud and loving father, son, brother, PeePaw, PawPaw, and friend to all.
Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Tommy Parrish and his paternal grandparents, A.J. and Lillie B. Windham, and maternal grandparents, Van and Lena O'Bryan
He is survived by his best friend and life partner, Vivian Davis, sons, Garrett Parrish (Trisha) and Tyler Parrish (Kaley), sister, Patsy Freeman (Jon) and their children, Andy (Candi), Russell (Maria) and Jonna, nieces and nephews, Jolie, Luke, Isaak, Isabel and Mason, grandchildren, Terrance Parrish, Ezra Parrish, Ryleigh Cater, Gavin Parrish, Lilly Grace Parrish, Kenna Parrish, Jackson Tice, Aidan Tice, Ella Grace Tice, Grady Jardine, bonus daughters, Amy Tice and Cassidy Jardine. He is also survived by his God-children, Emilee Hodge and Joseph Hodge, cousins, Penny, Reid and Jan Parrish, Karen P. King and a host of other loving relatives and friends to include his beloved dogs, Tiki and his side-kick and baby, Dixie.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Mike Horsely officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Parrish, Garrett Parrish, Russell Freeman, Andy Freeman, Scott Wicker, and Duane Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Chizmar, Doug Bailey and Qulon French.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the funeral home.
