Alyssa B. Monteiro, age 43, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 25th, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. She was the cherished fiancée of Jeremy Lopes and a devoted mother to her six beloved children, who were the very essence of her life.
Born on June 22, 1981, in Plymouth, Alyssa was the daughter of the late Lana J. (Blanchard) Correa and her late husband, James. She grew up surrounded by a loving family, including her brother Andrew Delgreco and his girlfriend Chrystal Foster of Texas, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Alyssa was a proud graduate of Plymouth North High School, Blaine Hairdressing School, and the Spa Tech Institute. Her career as a massage therapist was a true reflection of her nurturing spirit, as she dedicated herself to the well-being of others, bringing comfort and healing to many.
Alyssa had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She found joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was spending sunny days at the beach, creating delicious meals (with her signature dish, tootalings, being a family favorite), or sharing laughter and love with her children. They were her world, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them.
In honoring Alyssa's memory, her family will hold private services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a fund being established to support her children's education. Contributions can be sent to Jeremy Lopes at 30 Rte. 130, Forestdale, MA 02644.
Alyssa's spirit will live on in the memories of her family and friends, and her kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home in Plymouth.
