Amado O. Preciado Jr. 58, passed away in San Antonio, TX on June 18, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1966, in San Antonio, TX to Amado A. Preciado Sr. and Idalia O. Preciado. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Domingo Preciado & Olegaria Preciado and Antonio Olivares and Micaela T. Olivares, Parents Amado A. Preciado Sr. & Idalia O. Preciado, and sister Maria Preciado. He is survived by his brother Andrew O. Preciado and his wife Beverly M. Preciado, Kids: Amber & Tyler and Marcus & Linda; Grandkids Krystina, Anthony, Sophia, and Mason; including many family members, and many cousins, neighbors and friends; Close friend Lisa Leija and her family and grandkids.
Amado lived a conservative and private life but had a love and passion for playing his drums and darts. He played sports and loved playing basketball growing up and played high school football for Edgewood H.S., where he attended and graduated from in 1985. He then attended Business school for office administration and received his diploma in 1990, ultimately landing him at the County of Bexar where he worked for over 20+ years. He loved making jokes and loved to laugh. He loved to go fishing at the coast on his spare time, attended family BBQ's and many get togethers. He devoted a lot of his time taking care of our mother Idalia throughout her older senior days until she passed. He was a kind soul and very giving towards his family and friends. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt of his back any time. He loved professional sports, especially the Spurs and his Cowboys. My brother Amado (aka "BOY"), will surely be missed for sure but will never be forgotten. R.I.P. BRO.
