Amanda M. Bohmann
(nee Krahn)
Amanda passed away peacefully in West Allis, on August 23, 2025, at the age of 94. Amanda was the beloved wife of the late Donald G. Bohmann, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and family. Together, they raised their children Pamela (James Mannah), John (Becky Race), Nancy (David) Glass, and Jill (Mike) Heindl. Amanda's legacy continues through her 6 grandchildren, Safa (Grecia) Mannah-Ayon, Ian Glass, Lindsey (Jon) Scott, Nicole (Steven) Bockman, Sadie (Joseph) Teyssier, and Madison Heindl. Loving Great-Grandmother to Kai and Luna Mannah-Ayon. Amanda will also be remembered by other relatives and friends.
Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Krahn and her 7 siblings, David Krahn, Jack Krahn, Lorraine Hill, Leo Krahn, Claude Krahn, Jerome Krahn, and Joseph Krahn. Amanda's surviving family reflects on her life with a sense of peace knowing she is now reunited with her husband and loved ones and countless friends who went before her.
Amanda worked for over 25 years at St. Luke's Hospital (Aurora Health Care) in Administration with pride and a sense of strong work ethic. She enjoyed fun nights out with family and friends in a bowling league, card club, and golfing. Amanda and Don loved cheering on their Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Amanda's time with family playing card games like Rummy, Cribbage, and Sheepshead were precious to her and brought many laughs. Always one to put others first, Amanda wanted nothing more in her later years than to see her children and their family's enjoying life, sports, travel and good food together. She will be deeply missed by so many, but her spirit will live on through those she loved so dearly.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding care and compassion given to Amanda and her family by St. Croix Hospice.
