Amanda Lee Conway, 86 of Salisbury, Maryland departed this life in Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Bay Harbor Rehabilitation Facility. She was born October 12, 1938 in Salisbury, Maryland to the late Linwood and Eva Mitchell.

Amanda graduated from the Historical Salisbury High School now known as Salisbury Middle. She was employed with the Perdue Food Processing Plant for forty-five years and retired. While serving in positions as In House Inspector and in Quality Control/ Quality Assurance while at Perdue. She received numerous awards over the years from Perdue. Here at her local church, St James Free Methodist Church, Amanda served as an usher, church clerk and Bible Study Scholar. She got so much joy in studying the Word of God and loved Bible Studying under Minister Charles Brown. Amanda enjoyed playing dodge ball and basketball in her youth at school. She enjoyed watching her favorite football/ basketball games. Her favorite Basketball team was the Golden State Warriors, favorite player Steph Curry. Her favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"Bootise" as she was affectionately known, will be lovingly remembered by her children: Miranda Conway-Edwards (Norman Deceased) Elwood Darnell Conway (Olga) and Lybrant Robinson (Stacey), Bonus children Stephanie Watkins, April Conway, and Kimberly Tillman. Bonus grandchildren, Narcinda Johnson, Shenise Ewell, Norman Edwards, III. Eight bonus grandchildren. Amanda will be affectionately missed by close friends Branson and Anita Hearn, Violet Wallace, Madeline Shiles, First Lady Doris Reid, Ms. Winnie Finney, Deacon James & Debbie Hall, Elder Sabrina Edwards-Brown, Necole Waters, Devona Wall, Phalen Edwards, Cousin Clifton Lawrence, Dorothy Camper, Mr. Jim Perdue and the Perdue Family.

In addition to her parents, Amanda was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Conway, Bonus daughter Sandra Conway, Bonus granddaughter Pearlisha Edwards and son in law Norman Edwards, Jr.

To celebrate the life of Amanda "Bootise" Conway a service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday September 13, 2025 at St. James Free Methodist Church, 23614 Head of Creek Road, Quantico, MD 21856. A public visitation will be held one hour prior.
